My Sis, as I fondly call you,

Even though we lived far apart physically, yet we had this blood bond that was very difficult to decode. We fought, we quarrelled and we settled. We cried and laughed together. We discussed and shared our thoughts together. I will continue to miss those moments.

My Sis was a dogged fighter for every cause she believed in. You were indeed a giant that strode like a colossus. You will forever be remembered in the Ogunsanya family as much as in the political struggle and trajectory you chose and pursued so dearly.

Your philanthropy speaks volumes. A lover of children and a great mother to your biological children and political associates. Indeed, you came, saw and conquered valiantly. You have fought the good fight of faith.

I am yet to come to terms fully that you are no more here. My elder sister, my friend, I love you, but Jesus loves you more. Some sleep early, some sleep very late, but all must go to bed. It’s so hard for me to say goodbye, my dear Sis.

My prayer is that we meet again on resurrection morning.

Sleep well. Rest in peace.
