She was mother, my mentor, my compass, a pillar of support and a leader who looked after the interest of not only her followers but everyone she came in contact with.

Above all of this, she was humanist fighter, who never wavered in her dedication to the cause of the under trodden and who never failed to put smiles on the faces of people around her.
